Gloria House Academy is a Christian music training center based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. It was born out of a desire to transmit more than just musical knowledge: a life of true worship. Its mission is to train musicians, singers, and worshipers who excel not only in technique but, more importantly, in spirituality—rooted in the Word of God, led by the Holy Spirit, and anchored in a life of consecration.
This vision is carried by Kayembe Mbiola, a pianist, educator, and servant of God. With over 25 years of experience in the field of music—primarily in service to the Church—he has accompanied numerous choirs, trained musicians of all ages, and led workshops on praise and worship. In December 2024, he confirmed his calling by earning a music certificate from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas.
Today, he shares this vision wherever God sends him. He organizes training sessions in churches, Christian schools, and at various events across multiple countries and cultural contexts. Gloria House Academy travels with its founder, carrying this message of musical and spiritual transformation beyond borders.
His personal testimony—shaped by humility and passion—is at the very heart of this school: Gloria House Academy is more than a music center; it is a mission.
His passion for music began early. At the age of 11, he was already singing in the children’s choir of his church in Kinshasa (Centre Évangélique La Borne). At 15, a life-changing gesture from his parents marked a turning point: while his father was leaving on a mission, he sacrificed part of his own needs to buy Kayembe his very first piano. This act of love and faith opened the way for what would become his life’s calling.
Kayembe learned to play piano through a combination of mentorship and self-teaching. He has had the grace to serve in many churches, accompany several Congolese worship leaders in concerts and studios, and teach music to children, teens, and adults. He has also led training sessions on praise, worship, and musical practice in various church and choir settings.
To him, the piano is not merely an instrument—it is a true channel of communion with God. Teaching piano is much more than passing on a skill; it is about preparing hearts to worship God in spirit and in truth, especially within Christian families. He dreams of homes where family worship is lifted by inspired music, guided by the Holy Spirit.
In light of certain troubling trends in some Christian circles—superficiality, greed, and a loss of sacred meaning—Kayembe strongly feels the call to train a new generation of Christian musicians: humble, consecrated, and deeply rooted in the Word of God.
He speaks especially to beginners of all ages—children and adults alike—and to all those who desire not only to learn how to play, but to live out worship through music, in simplicity, truth, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
